My flower-embroidered pillowcase was a soft and faithful friend throughout my teens and college years, beloved by all who knew it. It's origin was a Mexican dress, and it passed from at least one other owner to me through an estate auction. Much loved and mended, it has passed from the world of daily use today because it has an r-i-p. It is survived by many a duller pillowcase, and it will be sorely missed. Rest in peace dear friend!
